Active bedside tablet for two-way communication

The active tablet for two-way communication, mounted at the bedside on a three-axis mobile arm, is also used to facilitate the care of isolated patients. In this regard, the tablet program presents useful information to patients, information about patients’ rights and obligations.

The tablet is also provided with an easy-to-access alarm button, which can be attached to both the tablet and the patient’s bed.

By using tablets attached to the patient’s bedside, patient-nurse and patient-doctor communication is improved: direct, direct communication. The patient can call and be called by video call at any time. The patient can also be called (audio – video) by caregivers, which is very important for an immobilized patient and not only. They also allow secure access to the patient’s medical data, i.e. the doctor can securely access (authenticated by an NFC card) medical data directly at the bedside.

The tablet offers useful patient information, information about rights and obligations, entertainment section and two-way call function directly with the nurse’s office.

The doctor sees in real time the investigations performed, results, medication administered, interdisciplinary consultation, investigations, etc. The doctor has secure access anytime and anywhere to the patient’s medical information, can view and edit information in real time:

The physician can configure alerts for specific patients for investigations whose values are outside the reference range.

Through the application the physician can use the dictation option. Basically, the system will transcribe into text, the inter-disciplinary consultation, the operative protocol, etc., the information being taken into the patient’s electronic record.


For Nurses the system includes devices that centrally collect and transmit patient’s medical parameters/data for the purpose of specific documents. Parameters are sent bidirectionally to the telemedicine system’s database and to the Hospital’s computer system’s database For the Assistant function, the PDA device also allows access to functions such as condices and products, double-check of medication adherence, and care plan.


The pharmacist generates a unique code for the traceability of the medication administered to the patient and is provided with the functions of:

Document Management System

Register, index, search, search, view documents by multiple criteria.
Provides holographic signature enrollment through specialized pressure-sensitive devices, which provide biometric signature verification to accurately identify the signer. The solution retrieves in digital format documents issued by a wide suite of applications (ERP; HER; HR; etc.) grouped by user-selected categories in the working screen. Depending on the selected category, the document is enrolled on the predefined workflow.

  • Allows to register, index and visualize documents by multiple criteria;
  • Allows searching documents, through search engine type search mechanisms by number, issuer, recipient, typology, description, etc….;
  • Provides processing history per flow for predefined document templates;
  • Allows automatic or manual registration of documents in predefined registers, both within the specialized module of registration – automatic registration, but also within the module of document management – manual registration;

Accuracy – The system verifies in real time the correlation between the patient and the medical maneuvers to be performed, drugs to be administered. Basically we realize the connection of time, place and medical indication between patient and medical staff. And this translates into an increase in patient confidence in the quality and accuracy of medical care provided in our hospitals.

Traceability – We know the route traveled by the health material or a biological sample collected. At what time, who collected it, where it was processed, who communicated the result.
